The quest for extremely high minerals and vitamins in water has finally ended where the promise of increasing the quality of life and slow the aging processes is reality. The pH factor can improve the health effects for human life. Water analysis variations for Calcium, Magnesium, and Potassium are an interesting way to determine their value as a health product in addition to their value as drinks. A healthy body's pH fluid level is 7.4. Drinking water is fashionable again and "Water is big, big, big business.
Earth is the water Planet. Salt water in the world oceans amounts to 97.6% of water on Earth. The remaining 2.4% of which glaciers contain 78.27%. Most of the fresh water is in the Antarctic Ice Sheet and Greenland Ice Sheet, which makes up 98.55% of the Global ice volume, while mountain water accounts for only 0.37%. Malaspiaa Glacier is now the largest mass on the North American continent. It is larger than the state of Road Island and its ice front extends nearly 50 miles along the Gulf of Alaska between Yakatat and Teg Bays. The time of the greatest melting flow apparently comes soon after the warmest time of the year according to research of Glazier Hydrology in Alaska.
The waters are Calcium Magnesium carbonate type. Hardness of the water is less than 100 ppm and does not exceed 150ppm for most of the water. It is not unusual to see clean non-glacier streams discharging into turbid glacial streams. Water is measured at 7.0 pH, but the pH of most stream waters are above 7.0 pH. Very few acid waters are found in Alaska. Alaska has been called the last frontier. Water resources are a valuable commodity, especially water that exceeds the Recommended Daily Allowances. These waters can improve human health and possibly increase longevity.
Walk down a Grocery aisle in any town in the US, Canada, Europe or Asia and there is a virtual tidal wave of bottled water brands. This 35 billion dollar industry worldwide continues to grow as water quality concerns, fitness and health awareness increases. In 1999 US, bottled water sales exceeded 5.2 billion dollars.
Presently RDA Recommended Daily Allowances for minerals & vitamins, are extremely low and extremely disease inducing. The one over-riding factor in their disease-free longevity cultures is the fact that these cultures consume almost "one hundred times the RDA" of everything. They also live decades longer & their aging process is dramatically slower. The common denominator is all of their water is loaded with mineral nutrients from melting glaciers.
