"You have had him long enough, he has to play catch with me know."
Sherry, ran over to Philip; "You said get serious, I think I'm
rescuing you."
"Thanks, Sherry, take me off the playing field."
Philip like the fact that Sherry had timing. Every one had fun, but Philip new they were playing a dangerous game inside an
expensive yacht.
He was relieved the baseball game was called for music and drinks.
The two brothers had thrown so hard, they had him off balance three times. "If the
glove popped one more time, I doubt if I could feel your soft skin."
Sherry squeezed his hand and said; " Lets get a drink, you sure worked for yours. You were great. I could not see the ball until it was in your glove."
"Your statement explains it for the two of us."
The nineties had reversed rolls, to say Sherry was aggressive was and
understatement.
"Philip I'm
Summer's twin.
Can you tell the difference between us now?
I warning you Summer
is the tame one. She told me, you were a little shy.
I don't want
you to worry, I will be your new guide in life. Am
I being to forward?"
Philip, decided he liked this woman, and said seriously; "Sherry all I ask from you, is to let me get in a word, or two, now, and then, Like, No. Maybe. Yes."
Sherry was happy with his words, and relieved with that
he acceptance her. "I like you, I may look like my sister, but with me I am single and available. My sister will always be a dream. She loves you, but all you will ever have with her is her
friendship. With me you will have
everything your imagination can dream."
Sherry looked at Philip, with a serious face a hint of a smile, and said; "You will fall in love with me. I believe there isn't much time, so I do not waste any, that is why I am so dam forward. Do you understand me now?"
"Just be yourself. I'm easy to know. I am attracted to you, and not just your looks, but your personality, aggressive or not pleases me."
"Hello Dr. Gentry, have you met Philip Donahue."
"Hello doctor, I was looking forward to chatting with you."
"Philip I read your book, I found it very interesting. My field has taken a direction that has me devoted to Mental Telepathy. I offer you an invitation to visit my colleagues, and I at the Palo Alto. We are a think tank, with
funding coming from the government. We would appreciate your comments, especially
your thoughts of the future, and
Extra Sensory Perception."
Philip looked in his direction, the man was a cross between, Albert Einstein, Sigmund
Freud, and Svengali. A real character. He looked the part of a scientist.
Philip never judged a book by its cover. He responded with a standard phrase he used at book signing; "The growth of telepathic rapport, will bring an era of higher learning and logical deduction, with its qualities of recognized relationships, and outstandingly the glory of the Aquarian Age."
Dr. Gentry's eyes seemed to roll in his head. His words turned a light switch, and the good doctor. Just "hummed" rolled his eyes, and said "Hmm."
"Doctor, are you all right." Sherry was concerned, the doctor was pale, and became strange to look at.
He said excitedly; "As the race achieves increasingly a mental polarization, through the developing attractive power of the mental principle, the use of language for the conveying of thoughts between equal, or of communicating with superiors will fall into disuse."
Sherry pinched Philips rear end, and then massaged it. His mind was stimulated by the doctor's comments, but Sherry had her way of communicating too. Philip reached for Sherry's hand, bent over to her ear, and whispered. "Listen to the doctor. I will quiz you later. If your answers are correct you will win a price."
Doctor Gentry rolled his eyes. He was not aware the couple was whispering to each other. Sherry said, "Doctor would you like some more Champagne?"
As his eyes rolled back into his sockets the doctor, continued without missing a beat.
"Language will continue to be used in reaching the masses, and those not functioning upon the mental plane. Already voiceless prayer, aspiration and worship are deemed of higher value than
pleading and worship, which are deemed of higher value than the pleading and proclamation of voiced expression."
"It is for this stage in the evolution
of the race for which preparation must be made.
Laws, techniques and process of telepathic communication must be made plain, so that they can be intelligently and theoretically understood."
Sherry looked at the him, as he paused. "Doctor Gentry, are there truly telepathic people in today's world."
"Philip didn't you tell Sherry you are telepathic?"
"I guess your sister did not tell you everything about me."
"Philip I am impressed; can you read my mind?"
"Later"
"You are telepathic." Sherry smiled, delighted with the knowledge and abilities of her new bow.
